The vaccination centres at the Paphos district are located the Paphos General Hospital, at the Old Electric & at the Polis Chrysochous Hospital.
A total of 42.5 thousand people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in the town and district of Paphos since January when vaccinations began, and until today, according to the head of the vaccination centers in the Paphos district, Health Visiting Officer Elena Zachariou.
In her statements to the CNA, Ms. Zachariou stated that the vaccination program at the vaccination centres of the Paphos district is proceeding smoothly and as usual, and so far 42.5 thousand people have been vaccinated.
Specifically, she continued, in the Paphos district, there are two vaccination centres at the General Hospital of Paphos, a vaccination centre at Palia Elektriki and a vaccination centre at Polis Chrysochous Hospital.
She pointed out that at regular intervals, especially on some weekends, mobile vaccination units go to various small Community Health Centers such as Panagia, Polemi and Salamiou in order to vaccinate the population of the surrounding communities.
It is noted that a mobile vaccination unit operates on some days in the Kato Pirgos Tillirias Health Center.
The vaccination of health professionals also continues as usual.
